Script infrared, keyboard, pass-through CEC
SUMMARY
The goal of this document is to explain in PlugnCast G3 configuration how to play a specific media when pressing a key on the white remote control 20 buttons (provided by Innes) or an USB keyboard.
The supported keys:
- from 1 to 9 (0 reserved to return to the media of the main zone)
- pressing a specific key of a monitor remote control of a monitor supporting the CEC
- Supported Keys: Red, Yellow, Blue, Green
The supported media are:
- Video,
- PDF,
- MAFF,
- Image,
- WGT,
- MS-PowerPoint.
The requested media can be played only in the main zone and if the main zone fills entirely the screen (height: 100%, width: 100%).
Your monitor has to support properly the CEC(¹)(²):
- (¹) for SAMSUNG monitors, the CEC activation is often made through the Anynet OSD menu
- (²) for LG monitors, the CEC activation is often made by using the Simplink key of the remote control
